UKFL Annual Conference 2020

Conference Success!

Today saw TimeFlyZ team members head off to the second UKFL Conference at Newark Showground to hear updates from the last 12 months.

The conference included the following talks: Vet Team Physiotherapist Catherine Marshall spoke about core stability and proprioception; Charlotte Walker from Canissage Pulse introduced their pulse therapy dog beds for our canine athletes; our own team captain Stacy gave a presentation on body condition assessment of our flyball dogs.

We were extremely humbled to be nominated for ‘Team of the Year’ in this year’s UKFL awards! Thank you to those who nominated us, it means so much! We were also very proud to have Marvel nominated for ‘Dog of the Year’.

The awards continued with Marvellous Marvel gaining the Malinois breed award and our little Super Fluffer Skwish gaining the Fox Terrier breed award! Both these dogs only debuted in League racing last summer, and have shown that teamwork, dedication, blood, sweat and tears have paid off!

Thanks as always to Green Pantry, Cambridgeshire Canine Massage, Seraquin, SP K9 Therapy and K9 Splash Hydrotherapy for supporting TimeFlyZ.

We are excited to see what other achievements the year 2020 will bring!
