Happy New Year

New Year, New Challenges, New Opportunities!

The new year brings lots of changes for the team…

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to a few members of TimeFlyZ at the end of 2017. In addition to the terribly sad loss of our treasured Peggy Sue, handlers Scott (and Mollie), John, and Michelle (and Flicka and Jasper) also left the team. Although this has meant a period of adjustment for us all, we are excited to see what 2018 will bring!

TimeFlyZ joined UK Flyball League (UKFL) when it launched in December 2017. As the height rules in UKFL differ from those in BFA, we had a practice measure of a number of our team dogs at the end of December in order to prepare our teams for our first UKFL competitions in February. We will be entering both BFA and UKFL competitions throughout the year.

We’ve been working hard to get our team dogs ready for their first tournament and are excited to see what they will achieve. Training is also going well with our ‘babies’ and many of our newest recruits will be in the lanes very soon! Experienced flyballer Steph (and her dogs Wibble and Skwish) joined us recently, and we look forward to training and competing with them!

With the ongoing progress of our established team dogs and our new recruits, and the continued support from our sponsors, we feel confident that 2018 is going to be an exciting year!
